Evolve/Maintain
by Abandon· from The Death Of Urgency
The death of urgency is at the hands of diversion.
Intoxication and impairment are the means to self-subversion.
Against the odds that we should fall, we will deny it all.
Straightedge: cut ties with what restrains.
This passion can’t be pacified with so much to lose and win.
Reject that which would hinder and our lives can’t be reclaimed.
Rethink and redefine this pledge so progression can be maintained.
Against the odds that we should fall, we will deny it all.
