Crimes Of Faith by Balaclava

A Prophecy

by Balaclava· from Crimes Of Faith

Will of man long since restrained, - (It was weak enough) But a husk to be overcome, - (By the clarion call) Sight of man long since obscured, - (“Pluck them out!”) But a veil to be swept aside, - (Swept aside by the winds of raging flames) All that you know; rent images, contorted shadows, all vulgar truths Rising from the darkness; the black seas ebb and roll away The penetrating vision; in all things infinity Risen from the darkness; the true man in flames regaled “God becomes as we are, that we may be as he is.” Burn! Burn the sense away that closes the door to heaven, firmly believing it’s saved itself from hell
