Five Fold Temptation

I believed in myself, but who am I to think I could last five-fold temptation? You were always there for me. You never drift, you always stay strong- and I promised that to you. I won’t promise you, ‘cause I don’t trust myself. But I know it will work itself out fine. It always does, it works that way. I’ve realized it’s not in my head. But all the same, what happens can hurt. And so I cry. I believed in myself, but who am I to think I could last. And so I cry.
