Reach The Top
by Cast In Fire· from Apology
loathing the fortunate. contempt in their gain. honor compromised. your life was lived in vain. conquest for other's riches. greed ruled by want. cheapening everything. contempt to reach the top. compromised everything. slave to your outcome. quick to blame failure. forgiveness denied. i protest your path. i detest your way back. find yourself another fool. i am no step for you. step for you. deceit to anyone who disagrees. failure has you on one knee. your potential has been wasted. you had time enough to change. fate has set in its ways. all your anger won't change it. you fell to reach the top. and now you're broken.
