Woe Is Me
by Crossbreaker· from Lows
Pull your thumbs from my eyes and let me see what’s real. I want to see the world for what it is, I’m wanting to feel the purest love and purest hate for all that surrounds me, sick of being tied repressed by reality. Sick of wasting my days, sick of searching for ways (sick of living like a nomad) for way out of this maze, it’s dragging me under and it’s pulling me down, I won’t end up like the rest, I’m not destined to drown. Twenty years of disregard and nothing to show for myself, I’m digging this hole deeper, trying to escape myself. Pull your thumbs from my eyes and let me see what’s real. I want to see the world for what it is, I’m wanting to feel the purest love and purest hate for all that surrounds me, sick of being tied repressed by reality. Dead eyes and deadbeat minds, passed through generations, tarnished mankind, it all grows further as worlds move apart, lives forsaken, before they’re even due to start. Forgotten. Emotionless calamity, this worlds not seen the worst of me, I’ve got so much hate to give. I’m just another fucking casualty of this mind numb insanity and now its time for me to live. I’ve been trying to get forward; I’m always getting kicked back. I’m taking my chances and I’m about to crack. It’s pulling me under and it’s it’s pulling you down. You’ll hear thunder, rolling through this town.
