Ain't Hard To Tell

by Dead End Path· from Death Walks Beside Us

when i look around and see humanities complete complacency with everyone and everything and people just turning a blind eye to the world outside, i can't help but feel alone i cant help but feel remorse cause i can't sit back and feel nothing for anyone or anything forced to fake a smile, fake your life in all your guilt ridden moments of happiness and you're content with your life just barely enough to get by shipped wrecked on every dream you've ever had all the promises that i made, from the cradle to the grave from the block to the stage, to these i'll stay true i learned it all from my mother who has given her world to me just so i can see how to treat the people that i love i've swallowed the reality long ago that i'll never have it easy but to go through life lying to yourself is such a bitter way to be i'll stay true to my heart, and give my life for my friends without a doubt have their backs til the end, never once expecting anything in return it's just how i am it's just how i am
