Decay
by Despair· from One Thousand Cries
Born into a world consumed by despair. Lash out to mask your fears. Conquer all with kill as your aim. Beat down on the frail and feel no shame. Now I'm drowning everyday with the weight of the world pouring down on me. It's dissolving me, it depletes me. When you sink down so far nothing makes you laugh. All your virtue and life force is ripped in half. Darkness is so thick. You could never smile again. Last cut by those closest leaves a scar you could never mend. I'll just watch us all decay. Thrown into this cycle. Conveying us to just wither away. No brightness. Just our decay.
