Shunned
by Ezekiel 24· from The Edge Of The Earth
Our intolerance for ignorance, has put us on trial
In front of the church to repent our vengeful lifestyle
Why can't they see that this mockery, towards us must be stilled
We'll never rest until all ignorant tourists are killed
Shunned for life! For our violent path
Shunned for life! For all our attacks
Shunned for life! The peaceful way we lack
Shunned for life! There's no turning
Back to our homes, to our farms, to our harvests
To our church, to our cows, to our families
Our hateful way has led us here, but from the Amish path we won't steer
The end of tourism's finally near. Lancaster County's saviours are here
Forever Amish, forever proud, but now we're part of our own crowd
Now...We...Are free! To... Put...An end to mockery!
There's nothing else we can loose, and there's no turning back
Now feel our revenge as this, pitchfork goes through your back
We can't go home, we're left alone to live this hell
You'll never know the pain we feel, when we hear church bells
There's nothing left, but we don't regret this choice we've made
We'll never stray, from the Amish way of life we've been raised to obey
It's hard to leave it all behind, for this struggle we face
But it's better than living in mockery, and shrouded in disgrace
These wounds we feel, will never be heal, until we die
But still we choose to defend the Amish way, for the rest of our vengeful Amish lives
Shunned for life!
