The Thickest Of Glass
by Motive· from A Doctrine Of Scripted Torture
masked feelings burn when exposed. it hurts to innocently fail. it hurts to understand, to know of a hope´s darkest day. i breathe in stale air surroundings are nothing. repairing distance is impossible in solitary a permanent uneasiness, too weak to overcome. unless i´m dead my yearnings will still be tortured. process becomes harder to unlock again. i present myself as i am. i cannot cover my faults. invisible incisions on my hands. i can never quite break the glass. the cut off point cut me to nothing. too frail to cancel emptiness. i will doubt myself until death. the thickestof glass surrounds me confined, hiding blinding tears. old feelings suffocate me. broken glass would slice my throat.
