Life Deceived

I'll hide the changing of my eyes and the anger they're displaying. Each day I am thinking that, through thought, nothings changing. I'll turn away from you and I'll bury the shame in me as you've chosen to renew this debt of apology. Content with life? Deceived. We've only settled. Ourselves, we deny. We're our own oppressors. Content with life? Deceived. We've always settled. The longer we're denied we unknowingly accept the cost. Indecision has led us away and astray from all of the issues that truly matter. Manipulation of wealth, social, political gain has filled to the brim our population with foes we swore to undo. Liberation must be gained. Until we're free, I will abstain. Another course of action must be taken and mine is realized. Whether it be a lack of education or the unwillingness to relinquish all mis-educations, we must come to the conclusion that we're on the brink of destruction. Liberation must be gained.
