Just when I seem to get ahead I run into all those familiar faces. It doesn't matter how old I get it's the same old situation. I walk the path I chose this life. I'm doing the best I can. You wanna play the game of who judges who, make the first move. In the end you'll lose. I live my life the way I want to win or lose no one can take that from me. I don't tell you how to live your life, don't tell me how to live mine. Say what you say stay out of my way. You haven't walked in my shoes, never been to the dark side. Broken hearts and broken homes, now son that's no lie. I grew up fast. I grew up quick dealing with hard times. That's the difference between me and you, you have it all and I have nothing to lose. You don't know where I'm coming from, I don't expect you to understand. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I'm doing the best that I can.
