Common Sense 7'' by The Defense
I never found and never will any meaning in self destruction Nor attraction or desire just pure disgust to see how do we infect our lives But I'll have to shine even in our darkest days When my heart will be afraid to find the light we need to fight again Through the years I've seen the heart of my people die Desires to have a joyful life but we don't even know how to respect our most precious tooling life But I'll have to shine even in our darkest days When my heart will be afraid to find the light we need to fight again Poisons won't guide myself anywhere but to the path to my grave Remember when I drew that line between following their steps Or create a chance to survive and then redefine my goals with a clear mind We are absorved in ourselves while independence is lost in vain We are too busy to ask why and spend our time loosing ourselves So I'll have to shine even in the days when our hearts won't find the light we need to survive Walk away from all this pain, no longer participate, how much more can you take? And like you I want to be free but your escape is just another jail I'll have to shine, no matter what I'll have to shine
