Sleeping Oblivious

magnificent warm euphoric salvation in the erradication of some of my fondest yet most poisonous memories when i lay myself down i dream not of a brighter tomorrow, but a nighttime at noontime you do the math. thinner mental shells provide more comfort depending on who you are surrounded by don't wake me up though, i'll most likely eat you alive i must eat you alive i've devoured my hands in hopes that sleep will bury me in six feet of sweet nothings and the awkward yet ultimately hopeful delusions the most destructive force in the universe lies within my words these meditations in a dystopian existence based on a sense of failure that is unmatched in any concievable dimension of thought the old man has his afternoon cat and he doesn't want anything else if we bother him tomorrow we'll all vomit thousands of birds he laughs shakes his head tells us through tired eyes history repeats itself but i became an escapist.
