Tides of Dirt
by What Once Was· from Demo 2006
I. (or.. to be swallowed)
these trees are my thousand hands
reaching to the sky
ive crossed galaxies in my third eye
and i have the blueprints to everything
that your life could have been
and never shall be. next.
II. (or.. everything went to his head)
loving everything simultaneously
and nothing at all
i am once, always, and never occuring
i live in the sea of misery and swim in the stars
at the same time
i breathe and breach life
and i am the inevitable miracle
i mean catastrophe
i am laziness muscles atrophied
"everything stands still"
the volcano erupting in antarctica
the polar arms in the sahara
(with me) you get songs of loneliness being played in a crowded room
III. (or.. and in the end)
oh those ancient roots have become his intestines
or vice versa.
he is the hills
rivers are his capillaries
terraphagia only reversed
he laughs at them via trees and wind
